Brief Program Summary: Through the Adult Education and Rapid Reskilling initiative, EmployIndy recently helped the City of Indianpaolis invest $4.4 million in CARES funding to connect and serve 2,000 dislocated workers without a High school degree in Indianapolis. Funding augmented state Title II funds for Adult Education and English Language Learning (ELL). Additional funds from the American Rescue Plan will be used to continue this local investment and solidify the Community of Practice EmployIndy is building with partners to ensure more efficacy in the continuum of client-centered supports.
