Overview
Brief Program Summary: MSD Warren Township has a renowned, award-winning career center
that provides Career & Technical Education (CTE) for a wide variety of skills, ranging from culinary
skills to cosmetology to welding, to Project Lead The Way courses, Biomedical and science &
technology. These programs are promoted throughtout the district beginning in elementary
school. The district recognizes “Walker Week” each year to highlight all CTE programs.
Elementary students visit the Walker Career Center each year. Junior/Senior CTE students
present CTE Career Fairs at each Intermediate/Middle School. All MSD Warren Township
students take Preparing for College and Careers in their freshman year to identify and explore
individual career interests and post-secondary plans. These CTE courses and programs instill in
all students the belief that they can do whatever they want to do.
