Brief Program Summary: Education for Liberation (E4L) helps educators lead radical change in
their schools. Developed by faculty at the IU School of Education at Indianapolis, E4L frames
cultural competency in schools as a transformative and liberatory process, one that must be
based in our collective humanity and shared future.
Success Metrics: To increase the number and competency of educators of racially and ethnically
diverse children.
