Brief Program Summary: Providing learning in Equity Literacy, Implicit Bias, Microaggressions, and antiracism, programs focus on each person’s journey toward racial healing.
Success Metrics: According to the workshop participant survey, 95.6% participants reported that the workshop helped them to better understand implicit bias, 89.4% said the workshop helped them recognize their own biases, and 89.4% said the workshops helped them identify actions their school or department could take to address bias. The survey also resulted in a Net Promoter Score of 76.6 (when asked how likely they would be to recommend the workshop to a friend, the average score was 9.3 out of 10), According to a follow-up survey administered one month after the workshop, 79.5% of survey respondents reported that they were more aware of their biases compared with before the workshop, 74% said they have taken action(s) to address their own biases, and 64.9% said they had recommended at least one action to their school or department to reduce bias or to promote diversity or inclusion on campus.
