Brief Program Summary: The Center for Urban and Multicultural Education (CUME) is currently
conducting the evaluation of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant with Christel
House Academy South and Christel House Academy West. The evaluation follows a case study
design and collects data via observations, surveys, and academic achievement data. CUME is
working closely with Christel House Academy to provide timely feedback of formative evaluation
findings.
Success Metrics: The evaluation includes review of attendance, suspension/expulsion, and
academic achievement data.
