Overview
Brief Program Summary: Family Opportunity work supports integrated programs that improve
the education, financial stability and overall health of the whole family. The Center for Working
Families framework, developed in 2004 by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is an evidence-based
model of integrated service delivery designed to address the challenges of the working poor
population and provide those community members with the financial capabilities, strategies, and
tools needed on a path to self-sufficiency. Traditional workforce development and employment
supports are bundled to assist with accessing public benefits, and financial literacy education and
coaching.
Success Metrics: Impact demonstrated through community partner outcomes, utilizing a 2Gen
(2 generational) approach building family well-being by intentionally and simultaneously working
with children and the adults in their lives together. Focus areas include Education,
