Brief Program Summary: The Love of Reading Project is a partnership between IPS, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and the Herbert Simon Family Foundation with a mission to increase grade-level reading attainment in elementary school children by cultivating a love of reading through an integrated framework co-created with families, schools and communities. The project was designed to honor the legacy of Herbert Simon who said books saved his life.
