Overview
Brief Program Summary: Project Lead The Way (PLTW) provides transformative learning
experiences for PreK-12 students and teachers across the U.S. by creating an engaging, hands-
on classroom environment and empowering students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills
they need to thrive. PLTW also provides teachers with the training, resources, and support they
need to engage students in real-world learning. Perry Township Schools utilizes PLTW in every
school within the district. PLTW aligns with Perry Township’s commitment to expand project-
based learning for more hands-on programs. The district has also invited several employers,
including Eli Lilly & Co., to volunteer with students on STEM and project based learning activities
that are part of the PLTW curriculum.
