Brief Program Summary: In April 2021, PNC announced a Community Benefits Plan to bolster economic opportunity for low- and moderate-income (LMI) individuals and communities, Black, Indigenous people and communities of color (BIPOC), over a four-year period beginning January 1, 2022. This builds upon PNC’s existing commitment in June of 2020 to use our voices, influence and resources to help eliminate systemic racism and promote social justice; expand financial education and workforce development initiatives; and enhance low-income neighborhood revitalization and affordable housing. Employee involvement in communities is a key component of this commitment, which will by supported by volunteer opportunities rolled out to local markets over the next several months.
