Overview
Brief Program Summary: The Summer Academy is a 6-week educational program for students
in K-8th grade. The program’s academic and skill-building classes, delivered on computers as
well as engaged face-to-face instruction from licensed teachers, help students review reading,
science, and mathematic skills to drecrease knowledge loss over the summer. Students also
participate in educational field trips and a culminating trip to Kentucky Kingdom.
Success Metrics: On average, scholars improve in ELA and Math by 12.8% and 16.3%
respectively
